We quickly learned that the new fan (Turn of the Century Karlyn Light Ceiling Fan) was a pain in the neck to put together due to the terrible electrical work done by the previous owner. Not only did we have to tidy that up, the fan itself was very tedious to assemble. The installation process took us two hours, but in the end, our efforts paid off. The smaller fan fit the room better than its predecessor. We chose to use the brown side of the fan blades so the angle looked a bit weird but the fan worked wekk and that's all that mattered to us.
Overall, even if I had a puffy red eye from getting paint in it and was drowsy from taking allergy pills to alleviate my current inflamed state, we were able to make some progress for the day.
